Are bubbles in my qPCR reactions affecting my data?
Bubbles in the wells of a qPCR reaction can negatively affect the data generated.

Samples run without bubbles present typically show smooth amplification curves with background below the threshold. Samples with bubbles present may show erratic amplifications curves and background signal that exceeds the threshold.
We recommend ensuring that bubbles are not introduced during qPCR setup. If bubbles in the wells are unavoidable, they may be removed by additional centrifugation or a slight disturbance of the well with a gentle flick, ensuring that no cross contamination occurs.
