Reagent Disposal Guidance

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are provided for all kits and reagents but we provide a summary here for disposal considerations.

Medicinal Genomics has produced Safety Data Sheets for each of our reagents and kits. Product family SDS documents are available for download at each items web page on the web store.

However, Medicinal Genomics products are not considered to be or to contain any hazardous chemicals based on evaluations made by our company under the OSHA Hazardous Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1920.1200. Per OSHA guidance, customers of Medicinal Genomics are able to use this statement if a verbal or other assurance is not acceptable.

SenSATIVAx®

  1. DNA Binding Buffer - Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations. Avoid release to the environment.
  2. Lysis Buffer (Flower)
  3. Elution Buffer - Same as above
  4. Solution A - Same as above
  5. Solution B (MIP) -  Dispose of contents/container to authorized waste facility. Handle empty containers with care because residual vapors may be flammable. Avoid release to the environment. Note: Liquid is classified as flammable, but concentration is minimal. Limited quantities of flammable liquids such as this component are excepted from labeling requirements.

PathoSEEK® qPCR and RT-qPCR Detection Assays

Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local, regional, national, and international regulations. Avoid release to the environment.
