# I am running out of my binding buffer before lysis buffer, can I buy it separately?

## MGC SenSATIVAx for Flower Kits – Reagent Details

**MGC SenSATIVAx for Flower Kits – Reagent Details**

Each SenSATIVAx for Flower kit includes the following reagents and total volumes:

1. **MGC Binding Buffer:** 48 mL
2. **Lysis Buffer:** 12 mL
3. **Elution Buffer:** 12 mL

The provided Binding and Elution Buffers are sufficient for approximately **200 extractions**, with an additional **20% overage** included.

When using the kit for **DNA purification in total microbial assays** (e.g., TYM, BTGN), only **12.5 µL of Lysis Buffer** is required per reaction. In contrast, **pass/fail assays** (e.g., *Aspergillus*, *Salmonella*) require **50 µL per reaction**.

As a result, you may find that the **Binding and Elution Buffers are depleted** before the Lysis Buffer. Please note that **kit components are not sold separately**.
