Medicinal Genomics DNA Controls are unmodified synthetic DNA genes. These controls are manufactured at our OEM partners. These partners are ISO accredited manufacturers of custom oligos, genes, and gene fragments.

Following gene synthesis, gene controls are diluted to MGC’s normalization specifications of 1 nanogram per microliter (1 ng/ul). Final formulations are analyzed by ESI mass spectrometry. Pass/fail criterion for oligos up to 39KDa is±0.02% (±2.8Da for all oligos with a calculated molecular weight of less than 14,000Da). Pass/fail criterion for oligos greater than 39KDa is ±0.04%.
